How to use this file:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. All code and elements are contained within "gallery_mc" movieclip. If you want to place this movieclip into another project, make sure you place it's x and y co-ordinates to 0 on the stage. If you want to change the document stage size, make sure you set the variables stageW and stageH to your document stage width and height in the code (see" gallery_mc" movieclip)

  2. To customize your gallery, first create the thumbnail images and save them to folders. Then create your FLV movies. I recommend using the standonline Flash Video Encoder which comes with Flash 8 and CS3. Note that some FLV encoders do not record the duration time in the video meta data which will result in no progress bar and undefined duration time when you play the video in Flash so for best results use the Flash Video Encoder.

  3. Once you have created your images and videos and saved them to folders, you will then need to define the video details in the XML file. In the XML file you can set the Gallery names, the name and path for the thumbnail images and videos, the title of the video and copy for the each video. See attributes: Name, Thumb, VideoClip, Title and Copy in the XML. Note that in this flash preview video's are duplicated on purpose to save download time for FlashDen buyers.

  4. To change settings in the flash file see INITIAL SETTINGS in the code for "gallery_mc" movieclip. You can set variables such default volume, buffer time, stage width and height etc. Also see "menu_mc" for scrollbar script with options to adjust scroll speeds.

  5. See comments in code for further help.
